How We Made Jesus Comfortable Instead of Lord

About This Message:

The Jesus many people talk about today isn’t always the Jesus revealed in the Bible.

In this message, we look at who Jesus truly is—not who we expect Him to be or want Him to be. From the opening words of John’s Gospel, we’re reminded that Jesus is not just a teacher, a helper, or a spiritual friend. He is God in the flesh, the Savior of the world, and the true light that brings life.

When we shape Jesus to fit our preferences, we risk missing the real transformation He came to bring. But when we see Him for who He truly is, everything changes—our worship, our faith, and our lives.

The Jesus we need may not always be the Jesus we want, but He is always the one who saves.

Bible Reading Plan for 2026:

We want to invite you to read the Bible with us! We have created a suggested reading plan, so as a church family, we are reading in the same area of the Bible as part of our daily quiet time.

Remember, read what you can. Anything is better than nothing. — Pastor Keith
